Intern – Finance Operations

H Connect International is a leading BPO company offering outsourcing services to clients based in the US, UK and Australia. We are a subsidiary of the Hirdaramani Group, a billion-dollar conglomerate with a 125-year legacy. We are looking for a finance intern.

This position involves updating summary sheets, inputting accurate customer data, organizing financial records, reconciling accounts, generating reports, and ensuring data integrity in bookkeeping tasks.

The Job:

• Update summary sheets based on information provided through various portals.
• Input customer and account data promptly and accurately from source documents.
• Organize and maintain financial documents and records in a systematic manner.
• Record invoices and payments accurately on accounting software.
• Reconcile supplier accounts to ensure accuracy of transactions and payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Assist in generating reports for management review.
• Thoroughly review data for errors, correct any inconsistencies, and verify output quality.
• Engage in monthly bookkeeping tasks.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Finance & Accounting or part qualified in CIMA / ACCA.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Knowledge of financial principles and accounting concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Knowledge in accounting packages (SAGE,QB, MYOB, XERO, etc.) will be added an advantage.
• Previous experience or coursework in finance or accounting is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in Finance & Accounting would be an added advantage
