H Connect International is a leading BPO company offering outsourcing services to clients based in the US, UK, and Australia. We are a subsidiary of the Hirdaramani Group, a billion-dollar conglomerate with a 125-year legacy. We are looking for an IT Intern. This position involves assisting with basic technical support, maintaining IT asset inventory, and supporting IT projects. The candidate will learn about IT infrastructure, software, and help desk procedures, while shadowing experienced staff to gain practical skills.
The Job:
- Provide basic technical support to employees, including troubleshooting common hardware and software issues.
- Gain hands-on experience with the company’s IT infrastructure, software applications, and hardware systems.
- Help maintain and update the IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate records of equipment and devices.
- Assist with the execution and support of various IT projects as needed.
- Learn and familiarize yourself with IT ticketing systems and help desk operations.
- Shadow experienced IT staff to enhance your technical knowledge and develop essential IT skills.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong passion for technology and problem-solving with a proactive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with common IT tools and software (preferred).
- Prior experience through IT internships or volunteer roles (preferred)
